Payment & Shipping Fees & Facts
The IBO-shop are accepting all payments through PayPal Express Checkout to provide maximum security and convenience for our customers. At Checkout customers will be redirected to PayPal.com to enter payment information, and are then redirected back to The IBO-shop to complete and close the order. Safe and simple.
The IBO-shop is built with Shopify.com, a leading company in building e-commerce websites.
Taxes (VAT/MVA) - Norwegian & International Customers
25% Norwegian Sales Tax is included in the products that are subject to this tax, meaning all prices are FINAL & TOTAL for Norwegian customers.
BUT taxes will NOT be included for International Customers, and will be subtracted from the total in the checkout process, this meaning the actual price for International Customers will be aprx 25% lower than the price showcased in the shops showroom.

International Shipping Prices, Procedures & Policies
All shipments are handled by UPS.
Silverware and other valuables are not permitted by law to be sent by regular mail, so UPS is the best solution. Eventhough it costs more than regular mail, it is also, and more importantly, much safer and guarantees a secure delivery of the jewelry, directly to the customer.
Price for International Shipping UPS (0-0,5 kg):
Scandinavia: 800 NOK
Rest of the world: 1200 NOK
Risk of loss and title for merchandise shipped internationally will pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. You will be responsible for paying additional charges for customs clearance; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. There may also be additional shipping fees charged once the package arrives in your country to facilitate delivery to you. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; please contact your local customs office for further information.Additionally, when ordering from The IBO-shop, you are the importer and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country and we will ship with all the necessary paperwork legally required of us. You authorize us to designate a carrier to act as your agent with the relevant customs and tax authorities in the destination country, to clear your merchandise and advance (on your behalf) any duties and taxes owed by you.
Your privacy is important to us, and we know that you care about how information about your order is used and shared. We would like our international Customers and Customers shipping products internationally to be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.
Also, we may provide certain order, shipment, and product information, such as description, to our international carriers, and this information may be communicated by the carriers to customs authorities to facilitate customs clearance and comply with local laws.
If the order is a gift, the package is marked "Gift," but the cost of the item is still stated on the customs form. Customs authorities require us to state the value of the gift item directly on the package.
Refused Shipments - If you decide to refuse any shipments from The IBO-shop, you are responsible for the original shipping charges to you, any duties, taxes and/or customs charges that are incurred on the package (on both the original and return shipments), and the cost of returning the package to The IBO-shop. This amount will be subtracted from your merchandise credit.
Undeliverable Shipments - The carrier will make three attempts to deliver and collect any additional funds. The package will then be considered abandoned. If the items are returned to us we will provide you a store credit less any shipping and associated fees, if the item is NOT returned to us you will be responsible for all charges related to the abandoned package including the cost of the merchandise.
Address Verification/Alternate Shipping Address
Address verification is a precautionary measure we take to ensure your safety and prevent fraud. Phone and online shopping does not allow us to request traditional forms of identification, e.g. a driver's license, like a standard walk-in retail outlet. Instead we conduct address verification though your credit/debit card issuer to confirm your identity and verify the validity of your purchase, thereby ultimately protecting your credit.
Both your billing and shipping addresses are verified before an order ships. If you would like to ship to an address other than your billing address, it is best to contact your card issuing bank and have your shipping address added as an alternate shipping address to your card. Simply let the card issuer know that you are placing a phone/online order and the retailer needs to verify the address before shipment to eliminate the possibility of fraudulent activity.
If your billing and shipping address do not match, we may require additional information to process your order. Orders requiring additional information may not only delay shipment, but we may sell out of the item prior to receiving the necessary information from you.
Orders with the same billing and shipping address or an alternate shipping address recognized by the card issuer will ship the quickest.
Within 5 to 7 business days of receipt of returned items, a customer will be credited for the amount of the item.
Please be advised that once an order has been placed we are unable to make any modifications to the order including cancellations.
Returns & Exchanges
The IBO-shop prides itself on offering the highest quality jewelry and accessories, and fulfilling customer orders accurately. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase simply return the unused item in its original condition within 30 days of receipt and we will credit your bank account, less shipping costs.
Should you notice a shipping error you must notify customer service within 48 hours of receipt of the shipment. Items received after 30 days will not be accepted back.
Shipping will be charged for exchanges. The original shipping fee will be deducted from the credit. Returns will be processed within 5 - 7 business days.
Please note on returns for different sizes or colors the purchaser is responsible for shipping charges.
Returns must be in original condition, with all the original packaging, including the original invoice. The IBO-shop will not accept any item returned with obvious signs of wear or with any of the original tags removed.
Please be sure to include your order ID and name on the outside of your return. The order ID can be found at the top of your packing slip.
We strongly recommend that you insure your return and get proof of delivery in case your package gets lost in transit.

Defective goods: the Purchaser’s rights and time limit to give notice
If the good is defective, the Purchaser must notify the Seller that he/she wishes to invoke the defect within a reasonable amount of time after the defect was discovered or should have been discovered. The Purchaser is always considered to have given timely notice if it occurs within two months after the defect was discovered or should have been discovered. Notice may be given no later than two years after the Purchaser took possession of the good. If the good or parts of it are meant to last considerably longer than two years, this deadline is extended to five years.
If the good has a defect and this is not due to the Purchaser or to conditions on the part of the Purchaser, the Purchaser may, in accordance with Chapter 6 of the Consumer Purchases Act, withhold the purchase sum, choose between repair and replacement, demand a price reduction, demand that contract be terminated and/or demand compensa- tion from the Seller, according to the relevant cir- cumstances.
Notice should be given to the Seller in writing.
Repair or replacement
The Purchaser may choose between having the defect repaired or the delivery of an equivalent item. The Seller may however oppose the Purchaser’s claim if carrying out the claim is impossible or causes the Seller to incur unreasonable expenses. Repair or replacement shall be performed within a reason- able amount of time. The Seller does not as a rule have the right to more than two attempts to cure for the same defect.
The Purchaser may demand a suitable price redu- ction if the good is not repaired or replaced. This means that that relation between the reduced and originally agreed price corresponds to the relation between the item’s value in defective condition and the condition according to the original contract. If special circumstances call for it, the price reduction may instead correspond to the defect’s impact on the Purchaser.
If the good is not repaired or replaced, the Purchaser may also cancel the purchase in cases where the defect is not immaterial.
International Returned/Refused Shipments
If you decide to return or refuse any shipments from The IBO-shop, you are responsible for any duties, taxes and/or customs charges that are incurred on the package (on both the original and return shipments), and the cost of returning the package to The IBO-shop. This amount will be subtracted from your total credit.

Minors & Family Members
The IBO-shop does not knowingly market to or knowingly solicit information from minors. Minors are ineligible to use our services, and we do not want minors to submit any personal information to us. If you are a minor, you can use this service only under the supervision of your parents or guardians. If a minor makes a purchase with their parents' credit card without authorization,The IBO-shop is not responsible for any refunds or returns. If a family member makes a purchase without the credit card holder's authorization, The IBO-shop is not responsible for any refunds or returns. The cardholder will have to dispute the charge with their credit card company or with the family member who placed the order, and take any necessary precautions so that this will not happen.
